This holiday season, Christy’s Foundation Food Relief Program delivered more than groceries—we delivered hope, dignity, and joy to families in need.
In partnership with Bank of America, our Christmas Grocery, Gift & Santa Giveaway at the Northridge Fashion Center Mall became one of our most impactful community events to date, serving thousands of people in a single day.
Christmas Giveaway Impact by the Numbers
On this special day, Christy’s Foundation proudly served over 700 individuals. When accounting for an average household size of five, this means approximately 3,500 people were impacted through this one event alone.
- Over 60,000 pounds of free groceries distributed
- Hundreds of families served in one day
- Free Santa photos for children and families
- Free holiday gifts provided to families in need
For many households, this support meant a full pantry, the ability to prepare holiday meals, and the opportunity to celebrate Christmas without added financial stress.
What Families Received
Families received a wide variety of nutritious and essential food items, including:
- Fresh produce
- Proteins and meats
- Dairy products
- Pantry staples and holiday groceries
Beyond food, families were welcomed into a warm and festive environment where children could enjoy free photos with Santa and families received holiday gifts, creating lasting memories during a season that can be especially challenging for those facing food insecurity.
