At Christy’s Foundation Food Relief Program, we see firsthand how rising food costs impact families in our community. Our mission goes beyond simply providing food—we aim to address the broader systemic issues surrounding food insecurity.
Impact of Inflation and Food Prices
The World Bank highlights that food price inflation remains high in many low- and middle-income countries, impacting millions of families globally(

To combat this trend locally, we offer free food distributions and educate families on stretching their food supplies while maintaining a nutritious diet. Check out our blog post on healthy eating tips for more ways to make the most out of limited resources.
The Role of Financing and Support
Global financing is key to tackling food insecurity. According to the World Food Security Outlook (WFSO), addressing food insecurity will require an estimated annual financing of $90 billion to provide safety nets for those in need(
