This special Thanksgiving event is open to members of our community who could use a little extra help this holiday season.
A Free Thanksgiving Meal for Our Community
Thanksgiving should be a time when families can come together, share a meal and feel supported.
Unfortunately, many families throughout Northridge, the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles County are struggling with the rising cost of groceries, housing and everyday expenses.
That is why Christy’s Foundation is changing things up for Thanksgiving Day.
Instead of our regular grocery distribution, we are inviting our community to join us for a free hot Thanksgiving brunch.
Our hope is to create a welcoming place where families, seniors, individuals and anyone experiencing financial hardship can enjoy a Thanksgiving meal and celebrate with their community.
Thanksgiving Gift Card Giveaway
We are also excited to provide a Thanksgiving gift card giveaway for members of our community.
Gift cards can provide much-needed assistance during the holiday season and help families with some of the expenses that come with Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Free Thanksgiving food and gift card assistance can make a meaningful difference for a family that is struggling.
Gift cards and meals are available while supplies last.
Who Should Attend?
If you are a family or individual experiencing financial hardship, we encourage you to come join us.
Our Thanksgiving event is especially intended to help people who may be struggling to afford a Thanksgiving meal or who could benefit from additional assistance during the holidays.
You do not have to be embarrassed to ask for help.
Asking for help is not a weakness. It is what community is about.
Christy’s Foundation is proud to welcome our neighbors and provide support with dignity and compassion.
Serving Northridge and the San Fernando Valley
Christy’s Foundation is located in Northridge, California, and serves families and individuals throughout the San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles area.
Our Food Relief Program provides free groceries to people experiencing food insecurity throughout the year.
For Thanksgiving 2026, we wanted to do something different — something that goes beyond groceries.
We want to provide a hot meal, community, encouragement and holiday assistance to the people we serve.
