Christy’s Foundation is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development & Grant Writing Specialist to help expand our impact throughout the San Fernando Valley.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in grant writing, fundraising, corporate sponsorships, donor development, and nonprofit business growth. If you are passionate about helping nonprofit organizations secure funding and build meaningful partnerships, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
• Write compelling grant proposals and funding applications.
• Develop relationships with corporate sponsors, community partners, and donors.
• Assist with fundraising campaigns and sponsorship initiatives.
• Identify new business development opportunities that support Christy’s Foundation’s mission.
• Maintain grant calendars and ensure timely submission of proposals.
• Track grant awards, reporting deadlines, and funding outcomes.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop strategic funding initiatives.
• Represent Christy’s Foundation at networking and community events.

Qualifications

• Experience writing successful grant proposals.
• Experience in nonprofit fundraising or business development preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of nonprofit funding sources is a plus.
• Passion for serving the community and making a positive impact.
